UK Fans for Street Team Needed!

Fans:”Nickelback Fans Online is a new site developed for the UK based Nickelback maniacs among you, who not only want to keep up to date with all the comings and goings of the Nickelback guys, but also for those of you who love those hard rocking Canadians so much, you would like to give them a lil something back!!!www.nickelbackfansonline is home not only to all the latest Nickelback news, free downloads, videos, pics and competitions, but it also plays host to the UK based official Nickelback forum and the bands own fan alliance- fans who love the band so much they use some of their spare time to promote the band- be it passing on eCards from the comfort of their own homes or hanging posters around their local venues/bars/clubs/campuses. The level of involvement members take is completely up to the individual and in return there are exclusive competitions/giveaways and opportunities to meet the band when they visit the UK.Existing member Jo Sheilds says of her involvement, ‘On hearing Nickelback’s album “Curb” I really wanted to do something to help promote them over in the UK. After checking out the Roadrunner Records website i found i could help them out and immediately signed up!’Since then I have been very fortunate to have met the band twice, and I have had two reviews published by Roadrunner on the main website, i was also was given the opportunity to do a photo shoot at their Manchester gig in 2004. What makes it worthwhile is when you are standing next to the band having several photographs taken with their arms wrapped around your waist knowing that they really do appreciate everything that we do in the UK for them.’Fellow teamer, Carlos Pendlbury agrees, ‘I signed up to the street team because i wanted to help my favourite band become as successful in the UK as possible, so they would continue to make awesome music.’ Having been a member for a couple of years now, Carlos has never looked back, ‘There is nothing more rewarding than standing next to your heroes knowing that if you continue helping, Nickelback will continue touring, recording and making time to meet their fans.’NBFO also doubles as a UK Nickelback community- a great way to meet new people in to the same music as you. Jo continues, ‘I have met some wonderful people who are also members that have become good friends. Nickelback and their crew are the nicest people you could ever wish to meet too, and i feel so proud to be a part of promoting one of the best Rock bands in the world’For more information on how YOU can become involved, visit www.nickelbackfansonline.co.uk.”Rock On,Nickelback Fan Club
