Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Videos from the Dark Horse Tour!

We’re pleased to announce that we are featuring some new behind-the-scenes videos from Nickelback’s 2009 Dark Horse Tour on the media page. We wanted to give NBFC members a feel for what it takes to put on a show as powerful and massive as Nickelback’s live performance, so our video team recently spent some time at the band’s show in Detroit and put together the following webisodes for all of you to enjoy:

“It’s Huge”

Check out the overall tour design of the Dark Horse Tour with Butch Allen, Nickelback?s Production Designer. It?s huge!!!

“Pyro”

In this video,  we hang out with Nickelback?s Pyro Crew Chief, Steve Joseph, for a closer look at the explosive power of Nickelback?s Pyrotechnics display.

“Bells and Whistles”

Get a closer look at the back-end of Nickelback?s massive sound production with Front-of-House Sound Engineer, Orris Henry.

“Bass tech”

Hang with Bass Technician David ?Shuu? Guidish, to check out all the details of the low end, including Mike?s signature Spector MK5 bass.

“Light Design”

In this video, Nickelback?s Lighting Director, Chris Maeder, describes how the crew has created a ?visual assault on the senses? with the band?s  massive lighting display. ~~

Although these will eventually be open to the public, all of the above videos are now available exclusively to fan club members on the Video page. This is just a taste of what’s to come when the summer tour kicks into full gear, as we have big plans for the “Virtual Ticket” section of the website. Stay tuned!
